The County of Sonoma DHS WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Program provides monthly services to over 10,000 Women, Infants & Children at 4 separate clinics throughout the County.Public Health education and research have noticed that children are more likely to eat what they grow themselves. Gardening is fun for children and good for the community. County of Sonoma DHS WIC Program installed a Salsa-Veggie Garden to promote gardening and better nutrition.   By installing the garden we want to show our WIC participants and the public that a small vegetable garden is possible at home and work.
