Shire Patch
My landscaping/garden is edible design. The garden was established over the years since 1996. I have +/- 8 apple trees, 2 santa rosa plums, 3 peaches, 8 different kinds of citrus varieties, 7 Asian pears, 1 walnut, asparagas beds, 3 avocados, 2 banana, red currants, black currants, grapes, 1 albezia, raspberries, kiwi, and I lost my passion fruit a couple of years ago in the heavy cold winter. I have 30 raised beds, 15 and 13 feet long 3 or 4 feet wide. In the spring I plant tomatoes, french beans, cucumbers, chard, zuchinni, peppers, onions, upo (asian squash), and eggplant. I have tried corn, okra, and carrots. I usually don't have enough room to plant a winter garden, but have been successful with cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, and peas. I sometimes grow watermelon or pumpkins. All this on a regular city lot.
I am trained in the french intensive/bio-dynamic gardening technique. I also have an environmental degree from SSU.
