We have a xeriscape front lawn now, plus beds and conatiners in the back yard. The beds are for vegetables, including 5 tomato plants, radishes, zucchini, peppers and swiss chard.  Maybe more!  We are taking care of the roses planted and loved by the property owner for many years but have cut back on the water as much as possible.  Should be easier this year now that we've had more rain. I also maintain several bird seed feeders, 2 hummingbird nectar stations, and a fountain.
