We are putting raised beds in the back yard to grow food and are converting the sprinkler system to drip.  We are planting apple, lemon and lime trees.  As we put in each raised bed we are taking out the grass.  Eventually there will be no grass in the back yard.  In the front yard we are sheet mulching the grass and putting in raised beds.  We will be putting in herbs that attract butterflys and bees and will also grow blueberries and raspberries.  The sprinkler system will be converted to drip.  We will also get our worm composting started as well as a compost bin.
