Native Plant Nursery Workday
Submitted by Sonoma_Ecology on January 16, 2012 - 11:29am
Join us at the Native Plant Nursery to learn how to propagate native shrubs through cuttings. We will be focusing on our native Snowberry a common understory and riparian species. Volunteers will learn the method of taking cuttings and the step by step process of striking them.
All ages and skill levels are welcome, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers will be getting dirty, so please dress appropriately: wear sturdy shoes, and bring gloves, a snack and refillable water bottle. Space is limited and RSVP is required.
