We purchased this 1+ acre country property 18 mos ago. It came with a mini cabernet vineyard in the front yard and a big zero in the backyard. We are interested permaculture and are trying to implement a permaculture-based garden design. We try to grow as many perennial veggies and herbs as possible...just put in 25 asparagus plants. We've planted numerous fruit trees and raspberry, blueberry and blackberry bushes. Our goats and ducks are useful to our garden, except for when they overindulge.
