Fox Gloves Garden

My garden started 10 years ago on a corner lot that was originally all thirsty lawn. I started ripping it out and putting in native plants and vegetables.  Over the years we have changed it many times and presently we have a variety of vegetables, herbs, and native plants. Many of the plants we have now are drought tolerant and we also have a simple water catchment system and a compost bed that has provided a good deal of material with which to amend the soil. All of the raised beds are made with recycled wood from Sonoma Compost at the Meecham Rd. landfill site.m We like to think of it as our urban farm
