Fertile Burb Farm

5/16/10- Got a brand new bed ! (well, five actually). Gonna grow food  in'em all summer long, This weekend our Lawn donned a new look! With a little help from a friend, we fashioned our forgotten pile of redwood grape stakes into five charming planter boxes!  The irregular wood gives them  some curves.   If we ever have to fly this cul-de-sac, these shapley darlings can uproot and fly with us ! But at this moment, I'm diggin our new beds and ready to grow an edible bounty right here.  Give up that  old lawn blues. Kermit may disagree but it's pretty easy being green- even in a tract home.  Take a peek at our newly dubbed Fertile burb farm !

ps: So far we have heirloom tomatoes.
