Gardening in apple bins because of the gophers. Have 20 4x4 bins and am attempting to grow veggies for my husband and me (and enough to give some away!) all year round. Having smaller spaces enables me to provide each crop its own mini environment: a shade house for the lettuce, hot caps for the sweet potatoes and beans, and so on.
