In 2009 I sheet mulched my front lawn and started my bee, butterfly and vegetable garden.  With the help of Sonoma Compost's Mallard Mulch I harvested zucchini by the bucket for my church and The Kitchen.  This year I have diversified with lettuce, beans, tomatoes, eggplant, swiss chard, summer squash and of course zucchini. Also have a small herb planting as well as sunflowers, russian sage, yarrow, lamb's ear and lavender.  The front yard garden generates much conversation with both neighbors and folks on a walk.  What fun!
