Cheryl's Garden & Apairy
As a new resident of Sebastopol and California, I was drawn to this area to garden and grow things. The earths energy is strong here and everything flourishes, even the pests.
This is my first year garden/s - I put in a 900 sf vegetable garden, hopefully it will feed 4 people - that is my objective. I also started composting and have an herb garden and a small greenhouse. My fiance put in a wonderful goldfish pond in the back yard that is also the local bird bath. I have a small apairy of 3 hives, and my bees are busy at work. We enjoy a piece of paradise on two acres where I have planted wildflower mix, as well as tons of borage, hyssop, lupine and other bee forage.
I have gardened in Colorado and Montana, both are limited and short growing seasons. I am loving the possibilities of this climate and am anxious to see what has popped up each day.
