Our year-round garden is located in the front yard of our home on a south facing street in downtown Santa Rosa.  We're vermiculturalists (worm wranglers) and routinely purchase locally made organic compost to amend our soils.  In the winter we grow onions, leeks, garlic, lettuce, kale and herbs.  Summertime brings tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, summer squash and basil.  Our favorite thing is to walk outside in the evening and figure out a dinner menu based on what's ripe!
