"Eat your greens" garden

I have 2 beds, fertilized with compost from my kitchen, and some chicken manure.  I mostly grow tomatoes, zucchini, parsley, kale, chard, basil, green beans and radishes.  But each year is different.  This year I want to grow heirloom tomatoes.  I also have a persimmon tree, which are great trees to plant, because you get fruit to eat in Nov and Dec.  Yumm.

I still have some lawn, but I hardly water it, and let it 'go gold' in the summer, and it comes back.  People think their lawn will die without water, but mine does ok with very little water.
