We are a K-5 school that began our garden 4 years ago with 5 planting boxes. We have expanded to more vegie beds, fruit trees, a thriving student -operated compost and vermiculture program, and to getting every classroom out working in the garden twice a month. Next year, we look forward to developing cooking, nutrition, and seed saving components. Our primary emphasis is teaching students to grow nutritious, tasty food, organically!
