Alexander Valley Elementary School

Alexander Valley Elementary School has an active school garden, with raised beds for growing vegetables, perennial berries & herbs, a small orchard, and a habitat border.  The garden is currently run by parent volunteers, but we hope to bring on a garden coordinator for the 2010-2011 school year to help expand the curriculum, and to produce enough vegetables to supplement school lunches and snacks!
